My Little Actor

Noah plays in the 7-10 "Kid Pitch" division in his baseball league. As you can imagine, kids that age aren't always throwing them perfectly across the plate. Over a year ago, Noah was beaned with a wild pitch. Since then he has taken to putting on quite a show if he thinks the ball is going to get close to him. The ball is a blur at Noah's ankle level to the far right of the pic. Nowhere near hitting him! But this is his usual reaction. It's quite comical.

Finally!

Look who's potty training! He's worn big boy pants during the day for a week. Only two accidents. Still wearing diapers at night, but it's a start! It's hard to believe I'm changing my last diapers!

Cousins!

The kids weren't able to go to the hospital to see Haley, so we took dinner over to Mark and Monica's and they met their new cousin. I think it's unanimous... she's a keeper!

Finally another girl!

Noah was absolutely in love! I'm waiting for him to start asking for a baby sister.

Even Caleb, who's not that fond of babies, wanted a turn.

Luke was so sweet and gentle with her.

Haley is such a good baby. She slept most of the time, but woke up towards the end of the visit.

Tyler was so excited to play with his cousins! I'm sure he slept well after we left.

Tyler just sat down on Noah like he was a chair.

Welcome to the Family!

Erin's brother Mark and his wife Monica had their little girl, Haley, on Saturday. She's just a little thing, 6 pounds 8 ounces.

Such a sweet little face!

I love baby feet.

Proud uncle.

Snow Day

On Friday we loaded up the car and headed north to play in the snow. We found a great little group of hills near Mormon Lake. The kids had a great time (except for Caleb), but there's no doubt my kids are warm weather kids!

The best family pic we could get.

Darian said she didn't want to go, but it looks like she managed to have fun with her brother.

Daddy trying to have fun with Caleb who was not so crazy about the cold.

Darian tried "snowboarding" down the hill. I missed the shot of her bailing at the bottom. Of course Noah had to try. He actually stayed on the board the whole way down. He thought he was pretty cool.

Caleb did not like the effort that went into sledding.

Luke started off not liking the cold but after one run, he didn't want to quit.

Finally a hint of a smile once he was warm and tucked into his carseat. Can you see all the dried tears on his little face?

Darian in the Paper!

The Ahwatukee Foothills News did an article on high school athletics of 2008. Darian is mentioned as a "Rising Star". It's kind of cool. Check it out...

Happy Birthday Caleb!

My sweet little New Year's Eve baby turned 5. We went to dinner with Erin's family and then over to Grandma and Grandpa's house for cake and presents. He gets his big kid party next weekend.
The "little" surprise the restaurant brought out for Caleb when they found out it was his birthday.

Cake at Grandma and Grandpa's.

Present time! Notice the teenager texting and not caring what's going on.

Haircuts!

I forgot to take Luke's before picture!
